Neauxla Eats and Catering services both large, inclusive events including corporate events and weddings as well as small, intimate gatherings. Our specialized catering services are designed to bring exceptional food, quality service, and flawless presentation, consistently to every event. We work closely with every client to design and execute the event they envisioned. Chef Shane oversees the food preparation for every event to ensure consistent quality. MEET OUR CHEF
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Chef Shane was raised in a family, city, and culture where food is truly a love language. His passion for cooking was developed at a young age by watching, helping and learning alongside the matriarchs of his family. Chef Shane’s passion is creating delicious and nourishing meals using quality ingredients. He specializes in southern comfort food as well as cajun and creole cuisine. He absolutely loves pushing the boundaries by adding his own unique spin to the classics and providing health conscious equivalents when necessary. His pride and joy includes his unique sauces, dressings, remoulades, and similar. Chef Shane attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management and Tourism with a concentration in culinary arts. Building upon his training,
extending his experiences, and refining his craft, Chef Shane has also worked for companies including Sodexo, Dickie Brennan’s Tableau and Palace Café, and Hyatt Centric. Where he excelled in positions including but not limited to line cook, lead line cook, and culinary supervisor. The culmination of his experiences encouraged him to pursue his dream of starting his own catering business. Thus Neauxla Eats and Catering was born. When he is not in the kitchen, Chef Shane enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife Natasha who moonlights as his business manager, sous chef, and dishwasher, and his kids Ava , Xavier, and Aja, and Aya.
